I am

Power Poem

I am true to my eyes, ears, thoughts and feelings

I listen to my heart

But yield to my mind’s best judgement

I am kind

And wise in my words

For surely

My words will follow me

I am not afraid of risks

But I am cautious of actions

Driven by emotions

And false friends

I avoid jealousy

Of others' achievements and possessions;

I avoid insatiable greed

For more than I can appreciate

Or use

I don’t eat

More than my hunger’s call;

Or drink

More than my thirst’s needs

I listen

To the spirits that favor me

And I offend not

Those that oppose me

I absorb myself in an activity

Worthy of my unique talent

And I develop as many common potentialities

As I desire and can

Whatever I do

I do as well as I can

I live comfortably

With my conscience

And I am at peace

With my soul;

I am courageous in life

While always respecting
